28 Dec 2010 : One brings two as Angus Wauchop joins Carnegie

Another cracking result for Carnegie today as Sarah and Matty Wauchop welcome their new born son Angus into the world.

Matt spoke through his agency "No I in team sports"

"I am delighted to be the father of a future Carnegie opening bowling combination - Fraser and Angus will surpass all achievements set by the Harpers in the 90s and Ross brothers in the last decade.  Both my boys will never play for Australia!"

Congrats to Matt and Sarah from all the Carnegie boys


23 Dec 2010 : Carnegie end 2010 with a new member! Daniel Daughtrey

Congratulations to former club captain Phil Daughtrey and WAG of the Year 2005 Noirin Daughtrey - last night - 22.12.10 at 9.30pm - they welcomed their son Daniel into the world.  All seems to be going swimmingly. 

Barney released this statement last night through his media agent - Flat Cap Sports

"Me and 'er indoors are right pleased to bring another Yorkshireman into t'world. He'll play proper cricket, none of this nampy pampy switch hitting malarkey we see nowadays.  No son of mine will be cutting before June, and if its there for it, it should be 6 over cow corner every time.  Now, if you'll leave me along, me whippet needs a walk"

A tremendous team performance saw Carnegie easily brush aside Stenhousemuir at Pitreavie on Saturday.

Go Slow Carnegie grind to a halt at home to Knights....Read all about it (if you must!)Carnegie slumped to defeat at home to Dunfermline Knights on Saturday.  A poor batting performance meant that a target of 153 was beyond Carnegie.

10 Aug 2010 : Debut Night to remember for young Fraser Wauchop!!
Those lucky enough to be at Pitreavie this evening witnessed the impressive debut of young Fraser Wauchop.  Fraser, aged 6, was easily the best fielder on display as he scampered all over the outfield.  Despite the heavy downpour Fraser had to be practically dragged off the field as he clearly fancied his chances of knocking over Bob and Kev!!

Surely a batting all rounder for the future......

09 Aug 2010 : QUACK QUACK!! Its the Bruce and Bob show!!
With only a handful of games to go Bob and Bruce are locked in a furious fight to win the 2010 Race to the Duck Pond.  Bob has somehow managed to claw back Bruces massive lead and they are both tied on a highly impressive 5 ducks each.

08 Aug 2010 : Brilliant Carnegie triumph in the Borders.....MATCH REPORT AND SCORECARD ADDED!!!
A slightly depleted Carnegie side caused a major upset by comprehensively outplaying league leaders Peebles in the Borders on Saturday.

Brilliant Bream takes Cheatahs to the brink as duck record is smashed!!!!  Read all about it!!***MATCH REPORT ADDED!!James Bream, pictured, entertained a packed Cairns Cricket Ground with a breathtaking cameo that had the large and loud Cheatahs support on its feet.

Alas Breams heroics were not enough as an astonishing 4 ducks (1 diamond and 3 goldens) undermined the Cheatahs charge.

In the end Carnegie were narrowly beaten by 135 runs.

Its the Niall Walker 'Variety Show' as Carnegie crash to Broomhall...Read all about it!!!!!A depleted Carnegie side put up a gallant effort against Broomhall on Saturday.  Broomhall rattled up 266-5 before Carnegie replied with 184-8 on a typical Carnegie featherbed track.
