Pace is the key as Carnegie thrash EUS.....Read all about it!!!A brilliant performance from Carnegies pace attack set up an emphatic seven wicket win over EUS at Pitreavie on Saturday.  Wauchop, Ross, Murray (a hatrick!!) and Mitchell were all on dynamic form to blow EUS away for 35.  Target was reached for only 3 wickets.

26 Jul 2010 : FPL Grand Final date confirmed as 5th of August
Carnegie Cheatahs will take on Broomhall at The Cairns on Thursday, 5th of August at 6.15pm in the FPL Grand Final.



Team has been selected and posted.



Please make an effort to come down and support the guys in their quest for silverware.

Yes thats right, our 2020 specialists, the "Carnegie Cheatahs" have scraped into the final of the 2010 Fife Premier League Final!

Opponents are Broomhall, date and venue TBC.

17 Jul 2010 : A tale of Hen Broon and a One Legged Butcher.....Carnegie win at Pots and Pans.......


Carnegie took the full 20 points on offer at Preston Village today, after racking up a match winning 178 for 5, depsite being put in on a wet wicket.  Hen top scored with a 56 not out.  "I did it for the fandago" Hen said afterwards



In reply, the Village people were all out for 89 or so, with Butch taking 4 for 12 off his 2 pace run up.  KP (despite catching difficulties), the fast Ross (despite breathing difficulties), Monty (despite diving difficulties) and Bowser (despite toe difficulties) all chipping in.  Nelly also bowled a testing spell despite pouting that 'Matty never bowls mem he doesn't love me.'

13 Jul 2010 : Cheatahs FPL Grand Final dream left in tatters as Ross leads team to horrific defeat at Hippo Park.....MATCH REPORT ADDED!!!!
Carnegie Cheatah's FPL Grand Final dream lies in tatters this evening after virgin captain Kevin Ross led the team to a devastating defeat at Hippo Park.



A strong Gladiators team piled up 145-7 off 19.3 overs, Greig Hopcroft led the way with 55 not out although he was badly dropped by Ross on 1.  Carnegie were indebted to spin twins Lafferty (2-35) and Urolagin (2-16) for dragging the run rate back.



In reply Carnegie were out of the game at 3-3 before Lafferty (35) and Philip (33 - runs not age!!) put on 67.  Philip hit 2 sixes to move to the top of the Sixes League as Carnegie finished by 82-6.

Cheatahs upset Super Kings again to Stand on the Shoulders of Giants......Match Report added!!!!Carnegie Cheatahs beat Kinross Super Kings for the second time in a week to stand on the cusp of a maiden appearance in the FPL Big Bash Final.  Murray Callan smacked 50 ( 7x4, 1x5, 1x6) while Kevin Pringle was the pick of the bowlers with 3-21.  An excellent team performance.

Man of the Match was Murray Callan and TFC was Murray Callan.
