Match report Carnegie lost the toss ands batted first. From 42 for 1 to 118 all out thanks to a bus, a slow wicket, and some ropey batting. Only Muzz and Jamie "wrists" Lee can take credit from their innings.

A small total of 118 to defend. Although Gav had them 2 for 1, he also tore a pube and had to come off. Despite heroics from Walker and Ramaraja, the SMRH batsmen proved too strong. Highlights were a series of beamers from Richard "Easyjet" Kitching, and twin spin from Lafferty and Chairman Ross.

Readers will be happy to know that old Mark "leper" Philips, is recovering in hospital after being fitted with a prosthetic right arm last night. Despite his haircut, rumours that James Honeyford was in hospital were unfounded.

More satisfactory mid table mediocrity for Carnegie. The season flounders out at Musselburgh next Saturday.....
